Bio:

The German/ Scandinavian heavy band Razorback was founded in 2002 by Rolf Munkes (Empire, Tony Martin Band), Chris Heun (Ex-Lanzer, Ex-Shylock) and Marcus Bielenberg (Ex-Vanize, Majesty). After several auditions with German singers, who all were in other bands and only wanted to work as a project, the three decided to look for someone special. Rolf talked to Neil Murray in those days and asked him if he knew a good singer for a new melodic metal band. And he did! Some weeks before Stefan Berggren from Stockholm left the ex-Whitesnake-guys and their Company of Snakes and was looking for a new band. Stefan was enthusiastic about the song material and so the story began with the excellent debut album "Animal Anger". With the second album "Criminal Justice" came the short appearance of Andre Hilgers on drums, who actually plays with Axxis, Rage and Silent Force. The new third album "Deadringer" shows the best sides of the band: heavy, melodic, sometimes a little bit bluesy, but always strong and powerfull. Their first class hard rock of highest international standard shows impressingly that professionals with excellent skills and motivation perform their best here. "Deadringer" is again an amazing increase to the first two albums and will blow your mind with fantastic songs and a breath taking alive heavy production. The new superdrummer Mike Terrana (USA/Copenhagen, also Masterplan, Axel Rudi Pell, Ex-Mamsteen, Ex-Rage) is a perfect fit for the band and everything is more than only well done, especially because the whole songmaterial is exactly written for the unique voice of Stefan Berggren. Ear catchers on the new album are for example the title track "Deadringer", the pumping heavy track "Let me give my lovin' to you babe", the fast forward "Last man standing" or the highly impressive ballad "Miracle Babe". Razorback have more than ever established theirselves in the premier rock league as a melodic metal outfit that is unique in germany and sets its signs all over in European metal.
